The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Rescinded the existing on-street accessible loading zone in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Chester Avenue, between a point 56.5 metres south of Browning Avenue and a point 10 metres further south. 2. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one hour from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Chester Avenue, between a point 92 metres north of Danforth Avenue and Browning Avenue.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision. Transportation Services is requesting approval to remove a designated on-street accessible loading zone on the east side of Chester Avenue, between Browning Avenue and Danforth Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations. Recommendation 2 will correct this inconsistency.

The Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing on-street accessible loading zone in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Chester Avenue, between a point 56.5 metres south of Browning Avenue and a point 10 metres further south. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize parking for a maximum period of one hour from 8:00 a.m.
