On September 9, 2019 an application was submitted to the Strategic Partnerships division (formerly referred to as the Toronto Office of Partnerships) requesting to name baseball diamond #1 at Stan Wadlow Park to Harry MacAloney Field. Baseball diamond #1 is the largest baseball diamond at the park, situated in the north-east corner of the park. The results of the public consultation survey determined that the majority of respondents were in favour of the naming.
Staff recommended
The General Manager of Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division recommends that: 1. Toronto East York Community Council adopt the naming of the baseball diamond field #1, located at 373 Cedarvale Avenue to Harry MacAloney Field.
