Earlier this year, my office undertook a comprehensive review of traffic regulations in collaboration with the community. Through this participatory process, it was revealed that members of the community have expressed a strong desire for the implementation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Homewood Street and Carlton Street. The installation of additional traffic controls at this pedestrian crossing will connect the Garden District by ensuring a continuous path from Homewood Avenue, through Allan Gardens, and down Pembroke Street to Moss Park.
