The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed hump) on Willard Avenue, between Dundas Street West and Jillson Avenue. 2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway to install one speed hump on Willard Avenue, between Dundas Street West and Jillson Avenue, generally as shown on Attachment 1 to the letter (October 13, 2023) from Councillor Gord Perks.

Transportation staff have completed their review of the existing speed humps on Willard Avenue north of St Johns Road and have provided the following recommendations.

Staff recommended

Councillor Perks recommends that: 1. Waive the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed hump) on Willard Avenue, between Dundas Street West and Jillson Avenue. 2. Direct the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway to install one speed hump on Willard Avenue, between Dundas Street West and Jillson Avenue, generally as shown on 'Drawing No. TC-185' dated October, 2023 from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.
