As the city filed it
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Dufferin Street, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services is requesting approval for the installation of on-street paid parking on the east side of Dufferin Street, between Rogers Road and Eversfield Road. This request is to provide new on-street paid parking to offset the parking loss from the closure of Municipal Car Park 670.

Transportation Services and TPA reviewed this segment of Dufferin Street for parking areas that are functionally safe, appropriate, and economically viable. The addition of approximately eight new proposed on-street paid parking spaces on the east side of Dufferin Street will help serve local business parking demands, in particular the clients of the Dufferin Medical Centre and encourage regular turnover throughout the day to maximize parking available to clients and patrons.
