The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Rescinded the standing prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Lombard Street, between a point 24.1 metres east of Victoria Street and a point 6 metres further east.

On the agenda

As the city filed it

I am writing to request your support in amending the parking by-laws on the north side of Lombard Street, just east of Victoria Street. Specifically, the existing no standing prohibition and commercial loading zone regulation are in conflict and must be amended in order to ensure proper compliance and enforcement. Transportation Services recommends removing the "No Standing Anytime" prohibition and keeping the "Commercial Loading Zone" in order to provide local businesses with an area where delivery vehicles can load/unload.
