On the agenda
As the city filed it
Residents in Dovercourt Village have contacted my office since early summer to advocate for safety improvements to the intersection of Hallam Street and Concord Avenue. Currently, all intersections along Hallam Street either have all-way stop control or a traffic signal - except for Hallam Street and Concord Avenue. Residents have noted this results in vehicles speeding through this intersection east until they reach the traffic lights at Ossington Avenue.

This issue is especially problematic as residents walking south on Concord often cross with no stop control for vehicles on Hallam. Coupled with a planned speed limit reduction, the installation of all-way stop control at this intersection creates a more complete safety zone along Hallam for our residents. I respectfully request your support on the following recommendation.
Staff recommended
