The purpose of this motion is to request that Transportation Services put aside poll FYP 2023-028 open between May 23, 2023 and June 21, 2023 to allow a new poll to be conducted. This motion was brought forward at the request of local residents in response to unique circumstances whereby the poll met the response threshold but did not achieve the 50% plus one in favour, despite there having been more responses in favour than opposed. Additionally, one ballot was returned by a deceased individual.
