In the fourth quarter of 2023, there were zero (0) lost-time injuries and four (4) medical aid injuries, which is a decrease in lost-time injuries and an increase in medical aid from the same period in 2022.

In 2023, four (4) WSIB claims were denied. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) invoiced costs for 2023 was approximately $36,000 higher than those in 2022. The higher WSIB fees are attributable to an increase in recurring disability payments and pension claim costs.
