City Council rescind the existing parking machine regulation in effect 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, at a rate of $1.50 per hour for a maximum period of 2 hours, on the east and south side of Marine Parade Drive, between a point 278 metres south/east of Lake Shore Boulevard West (west intersection) and a point 88 metres south of Lake Shore Boulevard West (east intersection).

As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Marine Parade Drive, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services is recommending that stopping be prohibited at all times on the east side of Marine Parade Drive, in the area opposite Silver Moon Drive, between a point 23 metres south to a point 12 metres north of the subject intersection. The proposed amendment will deter parking in the area of the intersection.
