The Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Authorized all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Mattice Avenue and Botfield Avenue. 2. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mattice Avenue, between Botfield Avenue (east intersection) and Jopling Avenue North, to be in effect between a point 30 meters west of Botfield Avenue (east intersection) and a point 63 meters east of Jopling Avenue North.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is requesting approval to install all-way stop control at the intersections of Mattice Avenue and Botfield Avenue. Based on the assessment undertaken, the installation of all-way stop control is recommended and should enhance safety for all road users. During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations.

Etobicoke York Community Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mattice Avenue, between Botfield Avenue (east intersection) and Jopling Avenue North, to be in effect between a point 30 meters west of Botfield Avenue (east intersection) and a point 63 meters east of Jopling Avenue North.
