As the city filed it

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition on the south side of Joicey Boulevard, between Bathurst Street and a point 42 metres east, be changed to a stopping prohibition. The proposed amendment will deter patrons of a nearby café from stopping and causing traffic congestion, including obstructing traffic turning from Bathurst Street onto Joicey Boulevard.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations. Recommendation 3 will correct this inconsistency.
