Prohibited parking from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the south side of Avondale Avenue, between Oakburn Crescent (west intersection) and Oakburn Crescent (east intersection).

My office has received concerns of traffic safety on Avondale Avenue during school pick-up and drop-off times, due to the lack of legal parking areas that allow for cars to temporarily stop. To improve the traffic flow and safety for students, I propose a parking amendment on the south side of Avondale Avenue to allow 15 minute interval parking during pick-up and drop-off times.

North York Community Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on both sides of Avondale Avenue, between Tradewind Avenue and Willowdale Avenue to be in effect on the north side of Avondale Avenue, between Tradewind Avenue and Willowdale Avenue. 2. North York Community Council prohibit parking from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the south side of Avondale Avenue, between Oakburn Crescent (west intersection) and Oakburn Crescent (east intersection).
