A continuous sidewalk is planned over the entire length of Homestead Road; however, this work cannot be delivered in the near future. The east side parking prohibition is recommended as an immediate measure to provide sufficient walking space for pedestrians. It will improve sightlines for motorists and prevent pedestrians from having to walk between, and around, parked vehicles. There will be a loss of approximately 35 on-street parking spaces.
