Approved the application to demolish the residential building at 676 Birchmount Road with the following conditions: a. that a construction fence be erected in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Code, Chapter 363, Article 7, if deemed appropriate by the Chief Building Official; b.

I am requesting to reopen Item SC14.9, titled "Residential Demolition Application - 676 Birchmount Road", which was amended by the Scarborough Community Council on June 12, 2024. Since that decision, I have had the opportunity to meet with the owners of the property and learned that the home is vacant and in a state of disrepair. Given this context, I respectfully request that we reopen and approve the demolition application for the safety and benefit of the surrounding community.
