This increased reliance on Rusholme Road has resulted in growing traffic safety issues for residents, including speeding through stop signs, racing, and aggressive driving. As many young children live on and walk down Rusholme Road, residents have long advocated for immediate traffic safety improvements.

In a neighbourhood survey conducted by my office, residents along this section of Rusholme Road voted in strong support of installing speed humps to reduce speeding and improve traffic safety.
