City Council request the General Manager, Parks and Recreation and the General Manager, Solid Waste Management Services, in consultation with the local Councillor and Waterfront Toronto, to explore opportunities to accelerate installation of alternative waste receptacles and other approaches to screening waste receptacles in the new Biidaasige Park. 3. City Council request the General Manager, Parks and Recreation and the General Manager, Solid Waste Management Services, to report to City Council with an update on opportunities to install alternative waste receptacles in other greenspaces across the city, as part of the fourth quarter report back referenced in Part 1 above. 4. City Council direct the General Manager, Solid Waste Management Services, the General Manager, Transportation Services and the General Manager, Parks and Recreation, in consultation with the City Solicitor, to report back on a potential permitting system to address the location and design of recycling bins on City property.
