This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services has reviewed the need for a 40 km/h speed limit on Evans Avenue between Islington Avenue and Royal York Road. Based on the assessment undertaken, Transportation Services does not recommend reducing the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h, as the warrant criteria was not met.

The Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council not authorize reducing the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on Evans Avenue between Islington Avenue and Royal York Road.
