On the agenda
As the city filed it
In response to concerns raised by residents living near the intersection of Warnica Avenue and Brawley Avenue-where Queensland Park is situated-many community members have expressed serious safety concerns. They report that it is increasingly dangerous to cross the street, particularly for families with small children, when trying to access the park. The lack of adequate crossing infrastructure or traffic calming measures has made this a growing issue for those who use the park regularly.
Staff recommended
Councillor Amber Morley recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council authorize all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Warnica Avenue and Brawley Avenue.
