The Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Fifth Street, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and Birmingham Street. 2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway for the installation of four speed humps on Fifth Street, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and Birmingham Street, generally as shown on Attachment 2, Drawing TC-551 to the report (October 2, 2025) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Fifth Street, between Lake Shore Boulevard West and Birmingham Street. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Fifth Street.
