As filed

The Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Authorized all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Paulart Drive and Maypole Street.

On the agenda

As the city filed it

Residents of Paulart Drive have expressed concerns about increased cut-through traffic and speeding on their street. Motorists seeking to avoid speed humps on Shaver Avenue South are using Paulart Drive as an alternate route to access Bloor Street Westand Dundas Street West. Additionally, the proximity of several car dealerships on Dundas Street West has led to the use of Paulart Drive for vehicle test drives. The absence of all-way stop controls contributes to excessive speeding along the street.

While traffic calming measures were considered, the lack of sidewalks on Paulart Drive limits the feasibility of installing speed humps at this location.
