This motion seeks approval to release Section 37 funds in the total amount of $29,000.00 to Transportation Services for the purpose of funding various public realm and streetscape improvements including the supply and installation of decorative paving fronting the historic Wesleyan Cemetery and associated Highland Creek Community Association signage. In partnership with the local Councillor and Transportation Services staff, the resident's association has identified an opportunity to upgrade a section of existing asphalt paving fronting the historic Wesleyan Cemetery to create an appealing public space for the local community.

This project is a partnership with the Highland Creek Community Association who are fully funding adjacent historic cemetery fence repairs. Transportation Services work will include the installation of signage to provide area identity and promote further economic vitality for the local retail hub of the community.
