As the city filed it

The Avenue Road Safety Coalition has long sought pedestrian safety improvements on Avenue Road. The stretch from Davenport Road to Dupont Street currently has extremely narrow sidewalks, and no convenient access from the rapidly intensifying west side of Avenue Road to the new opening into Ramsden Park scheduled to be constructed next year. By Item 2024.TE14.38, City Council authorized a number of pedestrian safety improvements, including an intersection pedestrian signal at a mid-block location near 215 Avenue Road, between Pears Avenue and Roxborough Street West.
