The purpose of this report is to recommend that the ceremonial name of "Heroes' Way" be assigned to Canterbury Place, North York. A ceremonial street dedication does not change the official street name or address information. It does result in the installation of special signage along the selected street. Economic Development and Culture consulted with Transportation Services during the preparation of this report.

Staff recommended

The General Manager, Economic Development and Culture recommends that: 1. North York Community Council assign the ceremonial name "Heroes' Way" to Canterbury Place, North York. 2. North York Community Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services Division to erect signage marking "Heroes' Way".
