As filed

Item NY21.17 was withdrawn from the agenda.

On the agenda

As the city filed it

Residents on King High Avenue have long dealt with reckless driving behaviour using this road. High traffic volumes and high speed contribute to the residents in the area feeling unsafe. This request is to discourage this behaviour, and to make sure drivers along King High Avenue are aware of their speed and are traveling at a safe speed through the neighbourhood.

Staff recommended

Councillor James Pasternak recommends that: 1. North York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on King High Avenue, between Wilson Avenue and Robbie Avenue. 2. North York Community council authorize the installation of a compulsory 3-way stop at the intersection of King High Avenue and Robbie Avenue.
