City Council on November 12 and 13, 2025, adopted the following: 1. City Council authorize the installation of a pedestrian crossover at the right-turn channel at the northwest corner of the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Underhill Drive/Railside Road.

As the Toronto Transit Commission operates a transit service on Lawrence Avenue East, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services has reviewed the need for pedestrian crossing protection at the southbound right-turn channel at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Underhill Drive / Railside Road. Based on the assessment undertaken, Transportation Services is recommending the installation of a pedestrian crossover. The pedestrian crossover will provide enhanced safety for vulnerable road users.
