The Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) operates a portfolio of 156 City-owned off-street parking facilities. Utilization data from these assets is a critical input for evidence-based decision-making and supports the City's commitment to transparency and accountability. In June 2025, City Council requested (via MM 31.6) the Toronto Parking Authority to begin publishing utilization data on a quarterly basis via the City of Toronto's Open Data Portal.
