The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Peveril Hill South, between Avenal Drive and Ava Road. 2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a By-law to alter the roadway for the installation of three speed humps on Peveril Hill South, between Avenal Drive and Ava Road, generally as shown on Attachment 2 to the report (March 18, 2025) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Peveril Hill South, between Avenal Drive and Ava Road. The assessment indicates the warrant criteria as set out in the updated Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Peveril Hill South.
