The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Lippincott Street, between Lennox Street and Bloor Street West. 2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a By-law to alter the roadway for the installation of two speed humps on Lippincott Street, between Lennox Street and Bloor Street West, generally as shown on Attachment 1 to the letter (May 20, 2025) from Councillor Dianne Saxe.

Reckless speeding by cut through traffic is a problem throughout Ward 11. Community members have requested speed humps on Lippincott Street between Lennox Street and Bloor Street West to help moderate the speeds of reckless drivers.

Staff recommended

Councillor Dianne Saxe recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize the installation of speed humps on Lippincott Street, between Lennox Street and Bloor Street West. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council direct the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway for the installation of 2 speed humps on Lippincott Street, between Lennox Street and Bloor Street West, generally as shown on Attachment, Drawing TC-499 dated April 2025, from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.
