On the agenda
As the city filed it
In Summer 2024, at the height of untenable traffic congestion in Liberty Village, my office moved forward a Traffic Action Plan for the neighbourhood. This focused around the need for tangible immediate, short, medium and longer-term improvements to ease congestion, as well as a focus on regular touchpoints with community stakeholders and local residents. As we plan and coordinate around special events in the community this summer, and as residents continue to report serious traffic concerns in navigating in and out of the neighbourhood, this strategy requires further iteration and commitment.

This needs to include proactive and coordinated engagement and communication with my office, neighbourhood stakeholders, and residents on the progress of implementation. I am looking to see the response to amendments made by my office at the October 2024 meeting of TEYCC.
