On the agenda
As the city filed it
Residents of Browning Ave between Pape Ave and Carlaw Ave have requested an amendment to the existing parking restriction on the north side of their street due to limited parking availability. There is a small stretch of Browning that falls under a legacy East York bylaw enacted in 1979 for which there is no recorded rationale. The residents in this section, covered by the East York bylaw, currently have access to permit parking in the areas of Browning not covered by this bylaw.

I have received a petition from the majority of residents living on Browning between Pape and Carlaw supporting such a change. City staff have indicated their support. I would like to amend this parking restriction and allow residents to have access to additional on-street parking.
