The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west. 2. Prohibited standing at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition on the north side of Melinda Street, west of Yonge Street, be increased to a standing prohibition. The proposed amendment will further deter parking on this section of roadway which will provide unobstructed access to the One King West Hotel and Residence.

Staff recommended

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council prohibit standing at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west.
