On the agenda
As the city filed it
Current parking regulations on Cross Street, a small residential street located near Dundas Street West and Gladstone Avenue, are creating significant challenges for residents and visitors to the area. While most neighbouring streets limit parking to one side of the street, residents on Cross Street are required to move their vehicles each Thursday to the side of the street with fewer parking spaces. Visitors are often parked in the few spaces available, resulting in frustration and conflicts among residents.

Through a neighbourhood survey, residents confirmed support and provided feedback on improvements to parking regulations on Cross Street. The proposed amendments include the removal of switchover parking days, fixed parking on the north section of the street where there are more spaces, and expanded permit parking times. These changes create a balance by helping to resolve the parking situation for Cross Street residents while ensuring spaces remain available for family members and other visitors.
