My office has heard from residents on Frederick Street between The Esplanade and Henry Lane Terrace regarding the need for traffic calming on their street to address safety concerns and received a petition in support of these changes.

Staff recommended

Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (three speed humps) on Frederick Street, between The Esplanade and Henry Lane Terrace, generally as shown on the attached Drawing No. TC-605, dated October 2025 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
