Waterfront Toronto is undertaking a pilot for an east-west water shuttle to test improved east-west mobility within the Toronto harbour. The pilot is planned to be operational for June 2026. One of the three planned stops for the pilot is Portland Slip. Other planned stops include the central waterfront (existing water taxi docks) and Biidaasige Park.
