Authorized the installation of traffic calming (8 speed humps) on Genthorn Avenue, between Kipling Avenue and Elmhurst Drive, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing No. TC-686 and TC-686-1 to the report (June 18, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending the installation of eight speed humps on Genthorn Avenue, between Kipling Avenue and Elmhurst Drive. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Genthorn Avenue.

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (8 speed humps) on Genthorn Avenue, between Kipling Avenue and Elmhurst Drive, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing No. TC-686 and TC-686-1 dated April 2026 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
