Community Sports Equipment Sponsorship

in select City parks, for a term of one (1) year, on terms and conditions, including provisions related to data privacy, sponsorship recognition, exclusivity, liability, indemnification, and communications, deemed appropriate by the General Manager, Parks and Recreation and in form and content satisfactory to the City Solicitor, and in consultation with Ward Councillors to confirm park locations. 3. City Council direct the General Manager, Parks and Recreation to report back to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee early in the second quarter of 2027 with an evaluation of the sponsorship including usage, community impact and operational considerations. 4. City Council direct the General Manager, Parks and Recreation to report back following the one-year pilot program on options for equitable distribution of community sports equipment stations across all City wards, subject to sponsor agreement, should City Council decide to authorize the first-year pilot program and any subsequent extensions. 5. City Council direct the General Manager, Parks and Recreation to report back to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee in the first quarter of 2027 to ensure a seamless extension should City Council decide to proceed with Year 2 of the program. 6. City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 to the supplementary report (April 21, 2026) from the General Manager, Parks and Recreation remain confidential at this time as it pertains to criteria to be applied to negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the City of Toronto and be made public when negotiations are successfully completed and agreements entered into, in accordance with the City's Sponsorship Policy, Donation Policy and Individual and Corporate Naming Rights Policy. 7.
