On the agenda
As the city filed it
Applications brought before the Committee of Adjustment are considered based on their adherence to the four tests as provided by the Planning Act: is the application minor, is the change desirable for the appropriate development of the site and neighbouring lands, does it maintain the intent and purpose of the zoning bylaw, and does it maintain the intent and purpose of the official plan. There are a range of materials that are submitted to accompany a Committee of Adjustment application, such as letters or petitions of support or opposition.

While these materials may not directly impact the four tests, they may nonetheless raise points of consideration and provide context for the Committee's review of the application. It is important that efforts are made to verify these materials and ensure the accuracy of information presented to the Committee of Adjustment.
