As the city filed it
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that parking be prohibited from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the west side of Grey Road, between Douglas Avenue and Deloraine Avenue. Currently parking is allowed for the unsigned statutory three-hour maximum limit on both sides of the subject section of Grey Road.

Vehicles are regularly parked on both sides of the street during the day on weekdays, which obstructs two-way traffic. Pedestrians must walk around parked vehicles since there are no sidewalks on Grey Road. The proposed change will allow for unobstructed two-way traffic and pedestrians to walk along the west curb edge. During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations. Recommendation 2 will correct this inconsistency.
