On the agenda

As the city filed it

Despite previous amendments to address parking concerns on Raleigh Avenue, the changes have not achieved the intended relief, and the issues persist. Raleigh Avenue is a residential street where local businesses and residents have been repeatedly inconvenienced by ongoing disregard for current parking bylaws. Issues include illegal parking, blocking of driveways, storage of unlicensed vehicles on the street, and general obstruction of traffic.

Direct communication has not resolved the matter, and while Parking Enforcement has responded to numerous complaints and ticketed accordingly, the conduct continues. Both Parking Enforcement and Transportation Services have indicated that a further Parking By-law amendment would be helpful in relieving some of these concerns. Therefore, on behalf of the residents and businesses along Raleigh Avenue, and by reopening of this item, I am requesting the following.
