On the agenda

As the city filed it

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services has identified that the current compulsory stop by-law for Sorauren Avenue and Marion Street is inconsistent with the installed signage. To address this discrepancy, we are recommending a housekeeping amendment to align the by-law with the existing field conditions.

Staff recommended

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing compulsory stop control for northbound and southbound traffic on Sorauren Avenue at Marion Street. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize a compulsory stop control for westbound traffic on Marion Street at Sorauren Avenue.
