On the agenda
As the city filed it
Residents have raised concerns with our office about the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Trent Avenue. Design changes introduced in 2022 at the southeast corner, specifically the curb extension delineated by purple paint and bollards, have created a significant pinch point. The available width has been reduced to the extent that it no longer comfortably accommodates two-way traffic for nearby residents and users of this roadway.

Residents report that vehicles are frequently required to yield or maneuver around one another in constrained space, creating potential safety risks and delays for both drivers and pedestrians. To help address these concerns, I ask for the implementation of a no-standing zone along a portion of the west side of Trent Avenue.
