The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Prohibited standing at all times on the west side of Sumach Street, between Dundas Street East and a point 20 metres south. 2. Amended the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily on the even (west) side of Sumach Street, from Shuter Street to Dundas Street East, to be in effect from Shuter Street to a point 20 metres south of Dundas Street East.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that existing corner parking prohibition on the west side of Sumach Street, south of Dundas Street East, be changed to a standing prohibition. The proposed amendment will further deter parking on this section of Sumach Street which will improve unobstructed two-way traffic flow and provide a safer environment for all road users.

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council prohibit standing at all times on the west side of Sumach Street, between Dundas Street East and a point 20 metres south. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council amend the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily on the even (west) side of Sumach
