The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Re-opened TE27.50, Roxborough Street West (Phase 2) - Construction Staging Area as it pertains to Part 1. 2. Amended Part 1 of its decision on TE27.50 by deleting the date "June 30, 2026" and inserting the date "December 31, 2026" so that it now reads: 1. Authorized the closure of the south sidewalk and a 3.6 metre wide portion of the eastbound curb lane on Roxborough Street West, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west, from December 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026 , inclusive.

3. Re-opened TE33.70, Improving Pedestrian Safety on Roxborough Road. 4. Amended its decision on TE33.70 by deleting "100 metres" and inserting "40 metres" so that it now reads: 23. Direct the General Manager, Transportation Services to install a temporary pedestrian crossover 40 metres west of Paul Hahn Lane to ensure that pedestrians can safely cross Roxborough Street West in order to walk to Yonge Street on the sole remaining (north side) sidewalk, until the south sidewalk on Roxborough Street West on the block west of Yonge Street is reopened to pedestrians.

By 2026.TE33.70, Toronto and East York Community Council amended a construction staging area (2025.TE27.50) for the construction of the new multi-unit residential building at 1 Roxborough Street West. That motion required Transportation Services to install a temporary pedestrian crossover 100m west of Paul Hahn Lane for the duration of the construction road occupancy, to ensure that pedestrians on the south side of the road have a safe access to the sole remaining (north side) sidewalk.

Transportation Services has since advised that it is safer and more feasible to construct the pedestrian crossover 40m west of Paul Hahn Lane. Also, the current staging permit expires before the next TEYCC meeting.
