As filed
The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (two speed humps) on Ennerdale Road, between Rochdale Avenue and Chudleigh Road, generally as shown in Attachment 2 to the letter (July 2, 2026) from Councillor Alejandra Bravo.
On the agenda
As the city filed it
Ennerdale Avenue runs south from Eglinton Avenue West and is a high traffic route connecting residents to many nearby locations. Currently, Ennerdale Avenue benefits from traffic calming measures south to Dynevor Road. I have heard from residents that speeding is a major problem on the stretch between Hatherley Road and Dynevor Road, which lacks the same traffic calming measures. In response to these issues, a neighbourhood survey conducted by my office confirmed strong support for installing speed humps.
