On the agenda

As the city filed it

I am kindly asking for your support of my motion to traffic calming along Montclair Avenue, between Bathurst Street and Lonsmount Drive. Residents of Montclair Avenue submitted a petition to my office requesting the installation of speed humps to help reduce speeding, discourage cut-through traffic and improve the safety of their street. I have heard many concerns from neighbours regarding excessive speeding on Montclair Avenue, resulting in near missed collisions between cars and pedestrians.

These conditions are particularly concerning, as the street is often busy with kids and young families. With the passage of this motion, the community will receive the traffic calming measures they have been organizing for.
