I am kindly asking for your support of my motion to traffic calming along Oriole Road, between Lonsdale Road and Heath Street West. I have heard many concerns from neighbours regarding excessive speeding on Oriole Road, partially due to motorists using Oriole Road as a means of avoiding Avenue Rd. The street is often busy with kids, elderly community members, and other vulnerable road users. I am recommending the installation

Councillor Josh Matlow recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (two speed humps) on Oriole Road, between Lonsdale Road and Heath Street West, generally as shown on the attached Drawing No. TC-728, dated June 2026 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
