The Committee will discuss indigenous-led governance to support the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee Terms of Reference review. Parts of this meeting will be conducted in closed session for the purpose of advancing the Committee's mandate of reviewing the Terms of Reference, as directed in EX14.9 - Review of Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee .

Council Advisory Committee Authorities and Processes
Staff from City Clerk's Office will give a presentation to provide foundational information on the structure and authorities of Council Advisory Committees, including how motions may process through the Council agenda.

Indigenous Identity Verification
The Committee will have an opportunity to discuss Indigenous identity verification and potential requests from the City on this topic.
That the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee: 1. Established a working group to conduct an in-depth review of Indigenous identity verification to support the development of guidelines to be put forward as recommendations for consideration by the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee. 2. Recommended the following members be part of the working group in Part 1 above. Cynthia Bell Suzanne Brunelle Paige Kimiksana-Kreps Millie Knapp Patti Pettigrew Dawn Sutherland, as Chair
