Establishing Subcommittees to hear Public Presentations on the 2026 Budget
Councillor Shelley Carroll recommends that the Budget Committee establish four Subcommittees in order to meet concurrently in two locations, on each of the two days of public presentations scheduled for January 20 and 21, 2026. These Subcommittees will report to the Budget Committee on their activities as part of the 2026 Budget Process.
The Budget Committee: 1. Established four subcommittees to hear public presentation on the 2026 Budget as follows: Date and Session Times Locations Subcommittee Membership January 20 9:30 am to 12:30 pm 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm 6:00 pm - onwards City Hall, Committee Room 1, 100 Queen Street West, 2nd Floor and by Video Conference Councillor Chris Moise; Councillor Amber Morley; and Councillor Gord Perks (Chair). January 20 9:30 am to 12:30 pm 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm 6:00 pm - onwards North York Civic Centre, Council Chamber, 5100 Yonge Street and by Video Conference Councillor Shelley Carroll (Chair); Councillor Lily Cheng; and Councillor Jamaal Myers.
