City of Toronto Nominee to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Board
This report brings forward the recommendation for a nominee to be considered for appointment by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Board.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council nominate the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 18, 2023) from the City Clerk for consideration by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority for appointment to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Board for a three-year term commencing May 3, 2023. 2. City Council authorize the public release of the name and biography of the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 18, 2023) from the City Clerk should the candidate be appointed by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to its Board of Directors. 3. Should the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 18, 2023) from the City Clerk be appointed by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to its Board of Directors, City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential as it relates to personal matters about an identifiable individual being considered for nomination to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Board of Directors. 4. Should the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 18, 2023) from the City Clerk not be appointed by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to its Board of Directors, City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about an identifiable individual being considered for nomination to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority Board of Directors.

Appointment of Public Members to the Board of Health
The Civic Appointments Committee will conduct interviews and recommend six candidates and one education representative to City Council for appointment to the Board of Health.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Board of Health, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, and until successors are appointed: Abinaya Chandrabalan Lindsay Kretschmer Charles Ozzoude Suman Roy Ramanjeet Singh Stephanie Zhou 2. City Council appoint the following school board nominee to the Board of Health, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, and until a successor is appointed: Ida Li Preti, Trustee, Toronto Catholic District School Board 3. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1-3 to the report (January 24, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Board of Health.

The Civic Appointments Committee will conduct interviews and recommend eight candidates to City Council for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following eight candidates to the Toronto Public Library Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, and until successors are appointed: Tamara Balan Justice Faith Betty Serda Evren Jonathan Hoss Dhruv Jain Amina Mohamed Alim Remtulla Soo Wong 2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1-3 to the report (January 24, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.
